Has anyone noticed that alot of the teen dramas that are around at the moment are a little extreme. You have Glee which lets face it is alot like High School Musical. Personally I can't stand either but that's just me. Then you have 90210 and The OC both of which are about a bunch of spoilt rich kids and they're full of melodrama.
I wonder if it is plausible that these shows are a contributing factor to the high rate of teen pregnancies and other issues that face teenagers today. With girls as young as 12 and 13 sometimes younger watching these shows it seems that their role models aren't exactly good ones. I know that TV shows are created for entertainment however I think that these shows should possibly tone down the melodrama just a little.
