What if....
This phrase gets used a lot when people wish things had worked out differently but to me it is an empty phrase that lacks any meaning. If someone seriously wants things to be different then they should do something about it. Whilst they can't go back in time but they can try to change the future.
Granted there are times when you can't change anything but you will never know if you don't try. Some people say that this is stupid or naive but I have to disagree. If you are thinking along the lines of what if it suggests that you are not happy with the present.
