Everyone says that they don't have time to workout yet anyone who does housework or cleaning is actually working out. Studies have shown that the number of calories burned during ranges between 170 per hour and 204 depending on the task, obviously things like hoovering are going to burn more calories. As long as you are active you will be burning calories so don't worry if you can't get a formal regime into your lifestyle as there are plenty of ways in which to fit in 30-60 mins exercise per day. Often it is the small things that make all the difference; it has for me.
Since September I have lost just under 2 stone and that was just from making small changes in my lifestyle, due to problems with my back, the pain makes it very difficult for me to participate in a formal exercise regime however little things like getting off the bus a stop earlier and increasing the activity level slightly has helped me shift the baby weight I never thought I'd be able to shift and a bit more. Obviously a healthy diet has helped but like I've been saying you don't need to make big drastic changes, little 1s are just as effective.
