Last week I went to a workshop at my daughter's school for a website that had been launched designed to help children up to the age of 11 with their school work. This is just 1 of the many resources out there to help kids learn. As every child is different it is great that there is loads of different resources out there as what works for 1 child may not work for the next.
Think it is purely a case of trial and error when trying to find the resources that work for your child. However it is not just children who need resources to help with learning. Learning does not stop when you hit 11, in fact learning should be a life long thing. However, there appears to be a larger market for resources geared towards young children.
I think that it is a shame that some people think that once they have left school then that's it, they know everything or just don't care about learning anymore.
