This describes my house and at the moment my life. Whilst I am attempting to get organised this is far easier said than done when it doesn't come naturally to me. I am attempting to redo the house so that it is clutter free, but not to the point where it feels clinical.
At present I am slowly going through all of my kids' toys and getting rid of stuff that they don't play with any more, clothes that are too small etc. I have to admit until I started sorting through all of their stuff I never realised how much they actually had. There was stuff in their cupboards that I'd forgotten about as well as the odd spider.
Some people have given me suggestions in terms of decor - seems when you mention anything to do with interiors everyone assumes that they are an expert. To me this is a personal thing as it is your home and your personal preference whether that be vintage, contemporary or whatever.
